Study on hydrogen in developing countries

- ENEA consulting of Paris has published a free study in French language "potential applications of hydrogen based technologies in answering developing countries needs by 2020-2025.
The outcome of this study is that there is a real potential for the successful application of hydrogen systems to answer development needs. However, the technological improvements required are substantial.
The study looked at hydrogen production, storage and use, and energy sources to create hydrogen. It covers use of hydrogen for electricity supply (base load or back-up), providing heating and cooling, providing energy for specific applications such as telecoms and portable electronics, and transportation.
